SEAS Program (Formerly RVA)

Transitional Program

Although transitional planning starts before the student turns sixteen years of age, the SEAS Program offers a non-diploma and diploma-bound transitional program for students between 18 and 22 years of age. This program gives the student an opportunity to work toward credits, so they can obtain a high school diploma.

Preparing our young adult students for a successful post-secondary outcome is an important goal at the SEAS Program. We work with students enrolled in our transitional program to develop outcome-oriented, measurable goals. Students in this program connect with service agencies and explore the educational and employment options available to them after high school.

Eligibility for transitional services is determined based on the annually updated Individualized Education Program (IEP) since the student’s 16th birthday. Please contact us for more information.
